Hurricane Helene Fundraiser: Feeding Greene County

This past weekend has been a trying time for the good people of Greene County and many other counties in the southeast as hurricane Helene unleashed a wrath of flooding and damage of biblical proportions. As of 9/29/24, most of the county has run out of water due to the complete destruction of the only intake pumping station for the five water utilities.

This means many business and restaurants cannot operate. However, we are a mobile kitchen like other food trucks. That means we can provide help to those that need it in our community. All we need is monetary donations so we can provide meals to those in need. Any and all donations will be collected and used to purchase food and supplies for our truck and other trucks to cook and serve for free to the public. We’ve already got a few other truck owners we can help get funds to so they can keep serving. We also need a means to refill our water tanks so we can continue serving safely so please keep that in mind too.

So how can you help? If you are seeing this, it means you are part of a very large network that Julie and I have around the country and the world. We’ve setup a link below to collect funds so we can track them properly along with the purchases we make using those funds. We are of course NOT a non-profit but those that know us, will admit we will do everything to track every penny sent to help our neighbors. Help us and the other local food trucks “keep on trucking” to help the community. We have a long way to rebuild Greene County.

Your payment will be made securely through our processor Square so we can track it properly. This money is NOT to specifically support our own business.
